what part of budget don't you understand?

What part of "the most important part of a computer" don't you understand? Aside from a faulty PSU I'm fairly certain that a faulty motherboard is the only component in a system which is capable of frying every single other component including itself. If you can't afford to buy a decent motherboard then suck it up and save up some money until you can or run the risk of having to replace every single component in your system just because you were unreasonably impatient.

i don't need a specialty mobo like that. besides it's 120 dollars. it's not even am3+
You said you'd never seen a good cheap mobo. I showed you one.

How do you guys handle your USB 3.0 connections to your motherboard?

Mine is ugly and sticks out like a sore thumb. I want it to look pretty.

Uh, what motherboard do you have? Mine is right next to the SATA connectors, so it looks pretty alright.

My cord layout is absolutely awful, but the cords are just small enough that I can't run them through the back.

every cable on my mobo instantly disappears behind the comp through a nearby hole.
there are no cables to be seen anywhere. besides a few board cpufan plugs

i dunno whos this is. but it was posted in our group.

its actually a shame that server boards are so.... barebones.
if they added some of the other sporty tech to em like our gaming boards, i would be that much more tempted to throw that kinda money at it.

For the split second it took me to scroll down, I thought you owned that PC. I am now disappoint.

i think anyone who uses the top of the line cards should be required to water cool them.
i mean i see like 25% potential wasted when like $6k was spent...

Is there even any room to water cool those gpus? Also, any idea what those molexs above the hard drives are?

yeah im not sure whats going on there.
are all the data-satas chained or something?
and the molex are just unused because i think whatever hd mount those are in can be pulled from the front?

i would feel better if i knew what case that was

since i recently found out i have $4k in my bank for unknown reasons, i decided to use some of it towards a new comp bc my laptop, which is 4 years old iirc?, has frozen up 3 times in the past few days and is redlining on memory.
a good gaming PC under $1k and around $600-$800 would be ideal; i might be able to push $900 but i should really save it for now
my brother got a cyberpower for about $600 and it seems to do good for him
also dont worry about a monitor; i got a smart flatscreen for christmas that i could use as a monitor. one hell of a monitor too.
