I was talking to someone else about whether 720p or 1080p is noticeable on a 40" Tv and this is one of the things he said:
"You actually see more artifacts in a 1080p native game due to sharper edges.
With Anti Aliasing you try to soften the image, but 720p is already softer than 1080p."
I don't know how accurate this is since I don't know a whole lot about artifacting in resolutions. Is this true or is he full of stuff?
