besides being compact I don't see a use for those. I do need a new case though, what's a good one for $100
mid and full idc
NZXT S340 would do quite nicely I believe.

I was looking at a fractal :v

nice too, I might go with it
thanks

I'm upgrading my ram from 8GB to 16GB and getting a 256GB SSD. I wanted to get a new PSU and case since I'm sick of mine. My PSU is a 750 watt Corsair one but it's about 4 years old and it's not modular. I have a CoolerMaster HAFX which is just too big.  But that was just too much money for things that aren't important.

RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB DDR3 1600
SSD: Crucial MX100 256GBB

I have a GTX 670 and for a while now I've been getting graphics driver not responding errors. I've reinstalled Windows, updated the driers tried a bunch of different things but it still keeps happening. If anyone has a clue to what can be causing this let me know.

I wish 600 watts was enough to power two R9 270s.

I wonder, would 600 watts be enough for two GTX 960s?

Hey guys, Im having a problem with my system that only affects certain programs
When I try to launch a program, the process appears in the task manager, but after the memory column reaches past a certain number, the process kills itself automatically. This only happens on certain programs, and these programs functioned perfectly fine until this problem appears. Any suggestions, guys?

I put in my leftover HD 7770 in my computer to power my second monitor in addition to my R9 270. So far so good!

Rumors are that titan x is only 1k?
At x1.5 times the power of a 980 that isn't bad.

And evga will be having a superclocked version on day 1

at a crossroads, should i get another Asus Strix 970 and go SLI
or replace my current 970 for a single EVGA 980?

Considering this interesting bit of news:
Quote from: http://gizmodo.com/windows-10-is-coming-this-summer-no-need-to-wait-for-f-1692066771
"We continue to make great development progress and shared today that Windows 10 will be available this summer in 190 countries and 111 languages."
And the idea that DirectX 12 can't be too far behind, you could always wait to see if you could use both a 970 and a 980 in your rig at the same time. :P

I am earning up money for parts to build a computer, I have $75 so far which isn't getting me anywhere obviously. But when I eventually get the money, I want to know how much I need.

I picked out a CPU already, I did a bunch of research on it and found it to be awesome. The Intel Pentium G3258 Dual Core.

Now I need to pick a Motherboard, do you think this would be good for it's price? MSI H81M-P33 Micro ATX LGA1150
or recommend.

My limit is around $700, I don't want to spend too much time earning money.

I plan on gaming, yes. Probably at decent, I will be playing crap like Just Cause 2, Universe Simulator, Half Life 2, BL, etc.

I'd go quad core, even with a $700 budget.

Guise, power went out while my PC was running. When it came back, turned it on, POST failed (as usual whenever the power is abruptly cut), spend ~4 hours, PC turns on and starts, reaches Boot, SYSTEM ERROR: DISK BOOT FAILURE. INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER. Tried all of my 6 boot DVDs/CDs/Floppies, fed up, insert Windows Install disk, nope. Made bootable USB, booted, Windows will not continue loading after the Starting Windows animation. help. Quick overview:
1 SCSI drive.
2 IDE drives (Master has the NT load data)
3 SATA drives (WinXP x64, Win7 x64 and Win7 x32)

3 1/4" Floppy A and B

DVD R/W

If booting off of removable media is failing then it sounds like a hardware issue unrelated to your current drives. However, I have experience that leads me to believe that Windows can do some really weird things when a drive isn't working correctly. Try the bootable USB again, but disconnect all the other drives beforehand.

Considering I wish to find the problem and fix or rewrite the NT loader, I don't think that is a good idea. The only drives that can run stand-alone are the Windows XP x64 SATA and the Windows 98 SCSi as they use MSDOS to boot which is installed in both drives separately.
