I'm considering a second 980 (1440p). I had a decent experience with sli 970s. Opinions?

had help but ye

BUILD (have mouse in link): http://pcpartpicker.com/p/g7Fqyc
get an amd r9 270 instead of that 750 ti, much better performance for gaming for the price

I'm waiting to see prices of the 980ti before I decide between them or  titan xs

Them 2 models will be the only Maxwell gm200 models there will be.

4k gaming now basically requires 8 or that 12gigs of vram. When dx12 is available, the 900 series cards can combine the memory finally to.

Have any of you heard of the Alienware Area-51? The reviews are the best part.

Yeah I know Alienware is crap.

??

two titan z's

or I'm missing what you said

What would be some guestimations of FPS of some games with an XFX R9 290, like Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4, GTA V, Payday 2, and other assorted games such as World of Warships, Kerbal Space Program, and other non-intensive games be.

(Assuming the CPU, RAM, and anything else is equal to or higher than recommended specs)

Well atm (at least until dx12) video card ram doesn't work that way. Video card ram acts as 4+4=4 instead of 4+4=8, so 2 titain zs would still just be 12 gb of ram.
At least that's how i think it works.

How does one fix the following problem:
Windows boots correctly but when it is supposed to load the desktop, all I get is a black screen with only my cursor visible. Same thing happens in safemode

i lied about my last build

Just bought a 5TB drive for $120 and now I have so much room for stuff. I imagine I'll fill it all up in no time though. I really want to build a NAS with atleast 4 3TB HDDS but that's soooo much money
