Go with a Crucial MX100 or Samsung Evo 850. I know both of those are supposed to be the bees knees. Also why go for a 128GB  when most 256GB ones are only a little bit more

If you have your own thermal paste, then you don't need to use the tube they gave you.

It's a really good build overall, but I recommend that you get a higher-quality power supply, like the 550W XFX TS: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1550gts3x It's got better capacitors, has 80+ Gold efficiency and is the same price as the Corsair CX.
I'd also recommend adding an SSD for the OS, if you have the money. A 256GB Crucial MX100 is only $110 and makes a HUGE difference compared to a hard drive: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/crucial-internal-hard-drive-ct256mx100ssd1

i totally didn't misalign it at first. totally didn't have to clean everything and have my dad put it on. absolutely not.

also i was wondering why i couldn't get the ram in until i realized i wasn't pushing hard enough.

To be fair i think it had to do with you putting way too much thermal paste on the cpu, not the cooler
