you can turn it off
yes because it totally says you can turn it off

I'm confused. So I bought a 2 TB drive and an SSD yesterday. I got Windows 7 installed on my SSD and I hooked up both my old 1 TB HDD and my new 2 TB HDD. But windows doesn't show my new 2 TB HDD. Only my SSD and 1 TB HDD. However the Intel Rapid Storage Technology program detects my 2 TB HDD. How do I fix this? Also I have no clue what the System reserved drive is there for. By last windows install didn't have that.

use that to format the hard drive, then it should work. that's what I had to do for my hard drive when I got it

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
It's really only because of the invalid S9 inputs.

Do I convert to a dynamic disk or a GPT disk?

Right-click on the partition, not the disk;

Right-click on the partition, not the disk;

There is no partition...

Assume that unallocated space is a partition and do the same thing

finally finished my build, after lunch i'll start installing stuff. what's the best way to go about this?

also next time i'm def getting a prebuilt, this is just way too much work for me.

is 5th gen the (broadwell?) 2011v3?
haswell

Still doesn't come up

is 5th gen the (broadwell?) 2011v3?
or skylake that comes in november
Broadwell just came out this year, so yeah I think so
Skylake and Skymont / Cannonlake come out later this year

Still doesn't come up
-snip-

Right click on the unallocated space and select new Simple Volume to make a new partition

Thanks that did the trick. But now my external hard drive isn't working. Before I put in my new HDD it worked fine but now it doesn't show how much storage it has and it says I need to format it and I have important stuff on it. How do i get it to read my external HDD properly without formatting the damn thing?

What would be some guestimations of FPS of some games with an XFX R9 290, like Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4, GTA V, Payday 2, and other assorted games such as World of Warships, Kerbal Space Program, and other non-intensive games be.
To add to this, this would be the build. http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/7vZbf7

It's been modified since the last build you guys gave me a few months ago, how is it?
Anything that can be improved without major cost increase?
