Today has been hectic. Getting drivers set up has been a nightmare.

Great, the graphics drivers are acting up now, making the resolution look really small.

can't you change that from your graphics card control panel?

Give me a min and I'll cook something up for you

fine with the 960 and the psu thanks anyway

Okay, but the 280X is significantly faster than the 960 though, and you don't need a 650W PSU unless you're going to SLI two 970's; the 520W Seasonic in my build is more than enough. But hey, it's your call.

Despite being a dream, this cooler is pissing me off, lol.

To be fair, the 960 uses less power, is only (very, VERY) slightly less powerful, is nvidia (which means less issues with games, which shouldn't be a factor, but because of recent games, it is.) and is slightly cheaper.

Significantly is the wrong word here anyway. The speed between the two is very small.

960 also has stuff memory though.

As much as I love this new PC, installing the drivers has been the biggest pain in my side. Whenever I install my graphics drivers, it messes up my resolution for some reason, making everything look big and distorted.

Before installing the drivers:

After installing the drivers:

I've tried rolling back the drivers, uninstalling/reinstalling, and resetting the resolution.

updated a crap ton
get an i5 and cheaper motherboard, when you're talking about lower price brackets overclocking should not matter that much
also yes get a better power supply, the 80 plus rating does not tell the full story
