Figured out the beepcode, and fixed it up. Apparently a memory slot clip was loose, and a RAM stick was loose as well.
i had the same thing happen to me

Yeah, I had to overclock my 970 to 1.6GHz and 60fps at 1080p. My room was hot af because it was just PUMPING heat. They've said themselves that the optimization is pretty bad right now but they'll be working on it.
I had the textures on high and everything on low so it wouldn't look like complete garbage.
fortunately the official drivers for ARK are coming out very soon. the unofficial ones are already out for windows 10 tech preview users, and the reported increase in performance is outstanding. i can't wait.

I don't know what that is :(

I had a power outage at my house and my computer was on and now its bluescreening every time I get to starting windows.
I tried resetting my bios (taking out the MoBo battery & putting it back in), taking out my dedicated Video card, checking my CPU, taking out different RAM sticks and putting them in different sockets, unplugging all my other drives except the one I'm trying to boot from, booting different Hard Drives, and updating my BIOS. My computer guy tested my hard drives on a different computer and said they work fine, and when I tried repairing them from the Windows install disk it said it couldn't and showed this:

This is what the Bluescreen says, it only flashes for a split second, I also cant go into safe mode either

Does your computer plug into a surge protector outlet? Did you unplug it after the power went out? Did a transformer blow on a pole outside?

Surges can forget up your stuff, and they happen when the power comes back on or if a lightning strike spikes up power/energy in your house's electrical wiring.

But if it pasts the POST, and it goes ALL OF THE WAY through the BIOS, it most likely is Windows itself (because it is, lol). Suddenly RIP computer isn't good, which is probably what happened here. What I found odd is that the repair disk doesn't work AND you cannot go into safe mode.

ya, should have a surge protector
anyone who doesn't is pushing their luck

I have a surge protector and it was plugged in, on top of that I have a dual bios MoBo that is built for this kind of stuff so if a surge does happen it won't mess up my computer.

When a power surge occurs the power supply is at the forefront for taking the blow. Try a different power supply if you have one.

I don't have a different one, I mean I do but its 15 years old and is only 280 watts or something

Put in a new hard drive with a new version of windows on it and see what happens.

I think you've just killed the operating system somehow.

Can I get a final check on this just to make sure everything is compatible? I've checked everything I can
and every little thing seems to be on par but I can never be too sure, as this will be my first build.
I won't be changing pieces unless something is just not compatible, as this is as much as I can afford.
(Also, if prices seem a bit, well, high, the canadian dollar really sucks lol)

I will most likely be buying the parts tomorrow (24/07/15) or the day after, so I can have them all by the end of the week.

GTX will be overclocked to high hell, and the CPU will be lightly for now. I'm looking to get a better cooler and more drives in the future.

Put in a new hard drive with a new version of windows on it and see what happens.

My hard drives work on other computers though...

Also I tried hooking up my laptop HDD to the computer and running Windows 8 off that but the same thing happened.

god how can you live with a 250gb of space
I only play like 3 games at a time and I am a very controlling dude. I currently have an old 931GB drive that is on its way out, and after 7 years of having it constantly spinning, it only has 242 gigs of crap on it.

of course i will be getting a second 500 gig drive once i have the extra bucks for it for heavier games such as Battlefield, but for now this'll do for my tiny install library
