Really? It isn't a bad sector or something?
My hd makes a weird clicking noise and then everything hangs for a couple seconds...

Anyone know whats up with this thing?
Worse. Back it up as fast as possible. Your drive will die in the next few hours/days/weeks. Don't ignore it like I did. You will regret that.

Clicking means mechanical failure.

Alright I'll back it up to my external when I get home

The HDD of my low end pc used to make strange sounds and windows even gave popups indicating an immiment failure...it's stopped making those sounds for the most part (now just normal usage sounds) 2 years later but the warning still pops up occasionally so I don't know how forgeted it really is.

You might wanna get that checked out.

Use MSDOS scandisk.exe It will scan for bad sectors and show you every block. I am not sure what its maximum drive size is though.

So I picked up a 2006 Mac Pro for 150 bucks.  Has no GPU, but I have arranged to get a 7950 Mac edition for 80 bucks (which is a complete and utter loving score, prices are currently 270 and up still) and it is technically been re-branded to an R9 280 in relative performance.

Operation coffee table combined with my other Power Mac G5 case is a go.

Hopefully they didn't leave them behind because they're faulty, because I've had bad experiences with those monitors. They basically, if left on for too long, the whole screen becomes inverted and just odd looking. It's not a problem with the LCD panel itself since the OSD looks fine, but something with the way it did VGA input.

if they suck, then go on a fun adventure of taking the monitors apart
