ya you should check out this super useful keyboard coming 2016!!!!!

probably the 1000 series from nvidia

That's using the new pascal chipset right

I'm wondering how much they'll be, planning to build a new PC in a year and thinking in that gen or a 900 would be better

Guys should I get 16 gigs of RAM for my computer if I get Star Wars: Battlefront?

I have an i5 4460, R9 270, and 8 gigs currently.

this isnt related to frys's electronics input, but unless you dont care much about slightly more expensive power bill by like 20 dollars a 390 is better than a 970 in almost every way

an amd card cant raise your powerbill by that much can it?

circlejerky, but amd cards are known to have substantially higher power draws than nvidia cards

I'm horrible with finding good gaming keyboards/mice. Opinions on the above? I'm looking for a gaming keyboard/mouse combo that is still under $40. Not much of a budget but I'm also not looking for super fancy (finally got the right ones up) personally I like the look of the s101 but I'm not sure what the benefits of it over a regular keyboard is

8 is all you need

Alright so I have an $800 budget for a new computer including keyboard and monitor (upgrading from laptop, have mouse)

Given I get a cheap KB and monitor for like $150 combined (because I don't give a stuff about mech or a fancy monitor), I'm planning on getting the GTX 960, 8GB RAM, 1TB HHD, and 250GB SSD. Some math means I have about $330 for a CPU, PSU, HSF, motherboard, and case. Is this impossible? I might be able to squeeze some extra money in or use a 1336x768 monitor I already own to save $100+ and get a monitor later.

I could also buy a GTX 650TI from a friend for fairly cheap and save a bunch of money there, too.

EDIT: Turns out the monitor and keyboard might not factor in after all. Nice.

I did more asking around and now my two choices are

I'm also considering replacing my desk but my budget for it is low.

I found this and it's about the same size as my current computer desk. Issue with my current is that the keyboard tray broke and I currently have a 2x4 screwed into the side to support it

Easily, you'll even have money left for pizza: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Chipskate/saved/dF3Ycf

I elected to try out an LGA 1151 build, for future compatibility. It's amazing what you can get for your money these days:

There's probably some points that can be tweaked to save a few dollars here and there but I think that it's definitely worth going for one of the new Skylake i5's

stuff man, thanks! Turns out the monitor and keyboard won't be factoring in after all since other people needed stuff to give me for Christmas (:P) and I might even get the GPU paid for, so I can probably upgrade the SSD and get 4GB video memory.
