It was a dead card so there was no money lost
I did it because... I dont think I even had a reason to do it, I just felt like removing it, I dont know how else to explain it.
Makes more sense knowing it was dead, thanks

I'm not sure where to look or what to do (I've searched this problem) but a lot of times when I get up from my desk, the computer completely freezes, everything seemingly gets disconnected (no lights are on) except for my monitor, and my programs dont treat it like a computer crash (Firefox dosent ask if I want to restore my session, it just opens the tabs and windows), and I have to hold the power button down to turn it off, what gives?

my computer did this when the motherboard was being blown out by a bad power supply

So I got a new mouse pad :)

peep those cables under my desk LOL

ah, I'll try installing an older power supply tomorrow, I can't exactly afford a new one right now, thanks, I'll see if it works.

I loving want that case ^

Is there some place where you can like used hard drives for cheap or no monies? except the junkyard.
Im looking for a drive going at 5200RPM so I can set up a raid0 configuration.
Unless I take out the drive from my laptop but I still want to use that one.

Found some on second hand sites... for 20 bucks lmao.

I like cases with bare front other then maybe the power button only. And a flat top since i like to put stuff up there :)

It's about time I got a new mouse mat. It's so old, it used to have a vinyl film sorta decal that came off bit by bit, and then the fabric that it was stuck to, so now it's just the grip thing.

Yeah when everyone sees my case they love it, but i want something flatter like the h440 :U

So I have a 360Gb 5400RPM drive and a 7200RPM drive in my desktop.
Is it a good idea to replace the 360 one with a 1Tb (also 5400rpm) in my other laptop and set up a raid0 with the 7200rpm drive?

i thought raid had to have identical hard drives

Apperently you can mix a 5400rpm with a 7200rpm but he 7200 will get bottlenecked to tge speed of the 5400rpm
But raid0 gives 2x speed 5400x2 = 10800rpm. Or doesnt it work like that?

no idea, as far as i know raid is just like sli or crossfire but for hard drives

im pretty sure setting up raid doesn't make your disks spin faster. the reason it works at double speeds (if i recall correctly) is that one half of the data is stored in a harddrive, while the other half is stored on another harddrive.

also, if you have a 1tb harddrive, and raid 0 that with 120 gb ssd, i think you get the storage of the ssd, and the speed of the harddrive, which i think is kinda similar in its case
