it should but i've never owned an i3 so idk for sure

Is it worth it to upgrade from a GTX 970 to a GTX 980?

GTX 980 isn't worth it. If for some reason you want to upgrade, get a 980 Ti

or just wait for the 1k series to come out

Hey guys, am I cool yet?

And before you guys criticize me for having 32GBs of RAM, like how pretty much everyone did, they were 2x1.

...why don't you have an SSD?

Because I blew my money on the i7 and the 980 Ti.

I got a WD Blue though and installed Windows on it.

Yo, my 240GB PNY SSD has been having some major disconnect issues, causing Bluescreens and startup difficulties. I tried swapping the SATA cables with different ones but the SSD still goes dead frequently. Gonna see if I can use the warranty on this thing.

Oh woops. Mass drop is pretty cool though, they find deals that the community votes on, then they order a bunch at a discount and sell it for lower then other place. They've got a GTX 980 TI for around $620 I think if anyone's in the market.

I got mine for $613.79 in Amazon.

have you tried formatting it yet

Side note : Pentiums get loving hot, also If your going intel at least go for a i3 and make sure you will be able to upgrade to an i5 (mobo compatibility)

Just because its the same socket doesn't mean the bios will support it, some mobo manufacturers do stuff like this to make you buy another mobo just to upgrade your cpu.
