I like the colors of alienware though, just into all that LED Lighting and stuff. What is it that people hate about it so much? I mean it runs some stuff at good settings. But I could see why people would prefer to build their own.
Way way overpriced
Usually stuff PSUs and Motherboards

There's more but that's the main reasons

because your typical consumer who may hold the "computer person" title in the household only pays attention to the price tag, RAM capacity, and which number comes after "i" in the CPUs designation

they would be lost trying to comprehend anything else

OK, guys. Question time.

My HDD is failing, should I invest in another HDD or replace it with a SSD or a SSHD instead?

never sacrifice capacity for speed
Ok, HDD/SSHD it is then.

if the ssd is the same size or the amount you would've used if the hdd didn't fail then get an ssd
if the ssd would be lower capacity, get an hdd or an sshd

never sacrifice capacity for speed

Ok, HDD/SSHD it is then.

Those things are unstable compared to a standard HDD or SSD

Well Prime Day sucked, and the monitor I was going to get went from 3% off to 6% the day after, so I just snagged it then.

So who here is in Central MA or Southern NH and looking to buy a 900p Acer Monitor for $50?

my lenovo came with a sshd and it sucked and i had to replace it with an ssd

I looked at them a little more and decided on the HP
largely because of the keyboard and trackpad to be honest. but that's reasonable imo, I'd rather not be stuck with a laptop I didn't like using lol
it arrived yesterday, it's nice. the top of the trackpad is a little annoying, because there is no raised bit that indicates where it stops detecting. you kinda just have to guess. not that great of a design choice there, HP
also, another trackpad issue, if you press a keyboard button the trackpad stops working for about half a second. dunno why. it's rarely an issue, but when it is, it's a particularly irritating one

Here's an updated budget build which includes literally everything except a desk. Dis gud?

why are you getting an r7 370 when you could easily get an r9 380 for the same price

50+ dollars isnt the same price

That's 184 dollars though.

If you haven't noticed I'm basically making it as budget as possible, this would just raise the price too much for me

it has a 30 dollar rebate that lowers that price down to 154.99
