call me crazy, i think, that the title 'mother' is refering to earth, think about it, in the first game, the aliens are trying to impregnate 'mother' aka earth, explaining why gigue is white AND isolated in what seems to be a glass sphere, its actually a testicle, and the ship gigue was in is actually a snake, which it precedes to 'rape' mother, which links the creator's trauma of seeing a 'rape' scene in a movie as a kid, and in mother 2, the aliens or whatever are actually ANTI BODIES made by giygas to protect him since he was a 'fetus', and it was up to ness to abort him
