I'm not a social outcast, whoever said being homeschooled would make me more of one
I'm not a target of ridicule, and nobody makes an effort to exclude me
I just don't talk to people

and again, the homeschooling thing isn't about friends, it's about grades, and idc about friends really, it's the whole being uncomfortable around people who are talking to friends that irks me

I wouldnt call someone who isn't socially adept "lame" but rather "introverted" or maybe "smart".

I'm smart and socially adept. Also; studies show that popular kids usually have higher than average IQs but at a certain point the smartest kids usually become the lowest part of the social ladder. I guess I transcend that because I understand how to tame my intelligence to converse with people not as intelligent as me.

and marching band, during the football season
I think I'm pretty alright at it
but it's the same thing as the rest of the school

it's called you're not a loving dweeb. being smart is great. but when you cross the line over to "omg lets play dungeons and dragons during lunch", that's when you start becoming "introverted" as bubba said, or as most normal people would say, that's when you become a loving weenie.

night fox, whatever fears you have, you have to face them

when i was young i was afraid of spiders, so i let a spider crawl all over my hand for a few seconds until he crawled away.

i also had a fear of the dark, so i sat in my pitch black basement with the lights off for half an hour, imagining murderers and monsters trying to kill me.  i was 10 or something.

i also had a fear of dark waters, so i made myself swim around and under the water in a lake upstate until i stopped freaking out.

all i'm saying is, you can't let your fears dominate your life
