Yeah I don't really like the new layout.  Luckily at one point I had the option to opt out of the new layout, and I took it.  I haven't been bothered with it since.  The only time I have to deal with it is when I go into incognito mode.

The new playlist... thing is pretty bad as well.  Autoplay is always on by default.  If there were some preferences I could set, that would be nice.

Overall I just wish I could find out who makes all of the new ui anyhow.  Maybe then I could give him/her some feedback on the new design.

I sent a feedback letter telling them I didn't like it and it discouraged me to come back. I dont like that I can't see my subscriptions first, and have to see what they're making me see. They also made a bad move by making all of the icons and vids etc on the left. Its okay in some parts, I dont really like the avatar being shown though.

I'm 98% okay with the new layout, the 2% I hate is that
1. i don't want to see what people flippin' comment
2. I want that little button by the subscribe button that lets you see more videos back.
that's about it, nothing else is wrong, a little hard to track things but other than that it's okay.

I love the new layout it is very clean and the colors match nicely.
Their up to date with Windows 8's Metro look.

It looks really great and I hope they make it even better than it is now.

The only thing I would like fixed is that in my subscriptions it displays the videos instead of the junk their doing.

the main dumb thing they did with this layout was having our damn subscriptions not the first thing we see. we have to go through multiple options just to find what we were originally going to watch.
i also never get suggestions on the home pages :(
and the fact the bg is still white but thats ok

We get the same kind of resistance to change at the company I work at and we just laugh at all the users bitching and moaning about how awful it is. I guarantee you the developers at Google do the same thing. Everyone knows you'll get over it in a week or two and stop being a crybaby about it until the next change.

the best feature youtube had was being able to see a line of uploads by clicking a button at the top of a video. thats now gone, or at least, i cant find it
