If you look closely the first letter of each name spells DEMC, which is an acronym for Derroith Master of Ceremonies. Doge, EnderCreeper, Minnax and Crimson are all alternate keys that Derroith used to manipulate the contest ensuring that nobody actually won.

I was actually referring to your request for zeroing to be implemented. Rangefinders will be easier than zeroing, but we should decide on an appropriate scale.

I don't think there is an easy way to implement zeroing that will have a desired effect. I'll investigate it though; it might require additional datablocks or tedious coding of cameras but that doesn't mean I won't try.

I could model different insides to the scopes and put them all on separate key frames on a single animation so they skip in so you could assign each key frame to a different range or just have separate 1 key frame animations for each range.

I don't know how to describe it but put faces all over it, sort of wrapping the gun and keeping them slightly spaced out.
