Pleading the 5th usually means you are saying that you won't self-incriminate. However, by refusing to take a drug test you basically incriminate yourself because it is probable that your motive was to cover up drugs.

But they can't actually use your plead as an "admission of guilt".

our school cant drug test you unless they have a reason too (which is bs because they can just make up a reason) and if you are positive then you are off whatever sport you are playing (or band or art if you're one of those kids) for 6 months (aka the entire season). the police also get involved but they are just there because they have too, i doubt anyone would get arrested unless it was like a cocaine stash in your locker or some stuff like that.

They can say it is suspicious. And schools have gotten away with random drug tests on students (athletes at least) in the Supreme Court. So it doesn't really matter if you refuse or not, they can probably force you to.
