A while ago (2010) I moved into a new town, Which was when I had no interest in getting money myself.
And my parents' friends arent really near me, Im about 25-1hr away from them.
So there is no option for my parents friends.

do what I did, put up a few signs around the neighborhood looking for small jobs, such as pet sitting/walking, mowing lawns (maybe not that one right now), washing cars (again maybe not that one now), and just other small jobs. Get a couple houses to hire you, and you should get a nice income.
