If this is about Bayonetta 2 I'm pretty sure the creator of these comics lacks some brain cells.

Why would you regret buying a game because you have to wait a few days? If the game is still great I dont see why I would be regretting the purchase.

Switched to a different server, PROBLEM SOLVED!

i'm taking this crap back and sending a 20 paragraph complaint to EA. Sticking with SimCity 1-4 and the sims.

EA and Maxis are experienced Video Game companies. They had the numbers of the Pre-orders, they have all the info of how many people are about to start playing day 1. They had all the power and choice to boost up their servers so they could take the web traffic. They had all the money they would need from the per-orders to buy new servers. They forgeted up. People have all the reasons and rights to complain. They didn't receive what they wanted and what was promised to them from the product they spent 70$ on. Don't be a little fanboy brat and start loudly complaining about the negativity towards EA and Maxis for this. It is their fault, it is their problem to fix and it is something that should have been fixed before the launch of the game.

so i take from this they don't have a single player mode?

it's either play with random strangers/get screwed by random strangers, or don't play at all?

It has a single player mode, but you have to be connected to the internet all the time. Its some bullstuff to stop piracy that the entire gameplay experience is suffering from.

My question is why the forget are there still only two NA East servers.  Do they have any idea how many loving people live on the Eastern seaboard?  I'm aware that the server name only serves as a title and is not geographically relevant but seriously, what the hell.  A total of four North America servers.  That's pathetic.

and it won't even stop it

What people don't understand is that this is no longer a singleplayer experience. Maxis intended this reboot to be a new multiplayer experience where several players would have to work together to allow their cities to actually loving exist. FOR ALL INTENTS AND PURPOSES, THERE IS NO SINGLEPLAYER. Unless you think that going into a private region by yourself is singleplayer but even then you're not getting the full value out of the game. If Maxis intended there to be a singleplayer they would have put it on the main menu.

and it won't even stop it

This kind of DRM I'm sad to say is effective. Because all simulation is run on servers, it would take probably several years to even crack the game.

Yes. Trying to stop privacy by "all time online" bullstuff that PS4 and Simcity are going for isn't doing anything but hurting the people who legally bought the game and increasing the motivation of people who want to pirate it.

You can't pirate SimCity.

I'd also like five, supported examples on how the DRM is affecting consumers.

Why five?  There's no needed set number to be right or wrong.

I can give one good reason though, just go on /r/simcity and see all the people who have problems with the servers.
