Author Topic: Nintendo Megatopic LOCKED  (Read 179662 times)

I'm pretty disappointed that there won't be a Nintendo conference at this year's E3. Nintendo always had great conferences.

Edit: Reggie was especially awesome to watch during E3 conferences. This year we probably won't see him that much or none at all.

I'm fighting Cthulhu with a spoon.

That's a shame.
Lord Tony, get out of this thread. You never behave yourself here.

Did the Virtual Console launch today or something?

So do you think the price will drop?
if so I might save up.

I'm going to have to side with Tony on this one, it is a shame that the Wii U doesn't support Steam.

That's odd. I thought gabe really liked the Wii U.

Probably because its the only console that is generally thought to be as bad as the steambox? *snickering*
Whatever, I enjoy my Wii U and that's all that matters.

Wait what? The steam box isn't even out yet. What's going to be so bad about it?

Actually it is. They call it the Piston and its specs (Not nearly as powerful as PS3) are awful for its price (~1000$). Its just a computer that runs linux with steam installed in it. You might as well put  a desktop next to a TV and it would be the same result.

from what i can tell it is far more powerful then the ps3 and Wii U. But that's not saying much

Well, my knowledge of the piston comes from Totalbiscuit, so it might be a bit weak on my part too.

valve discontinued their partnership with the company that made the piston.  It's also not Valve's official solution.

I was going to add "Well.. Technically(so on)" in the beginning. Thanks for the extra information on the subject though.

Oh man I can't wait to buy a Wii U, I am very excited to see the new games Nintendo will announce for it
