I need 5 more coins to buy a game worth 150 coins, and I have 85 coins till platinum status. :(

When are you able to get your games for the elite status anyway? o:

This is my first Animal Crossing game though, so I won't be able to say how it is compared to the others

The 3DS is actually a really cool console. I have both the small and XL version (I bought the small one when it first appeared in stores, XL later)  and i absolutely love them both.

You have to build his building in public works to get him to appear, he doesn't appear by default now because Japanese kids were scared of him.

So far New Leaf is great, I predict I'll be spending a lot of time screwing around with it, I love it when there's lots of stuff to collect

Today I got stung by bees and shook a bed out of a tree so...overall pretty good?

Should I get ACNL on a cartridge or download?

cartridge of course.

there is nothing that beats opening the box for the first time and getting the cartridge out of it, then putting it in your 3DS full of suspense and starting the game. absolutely nothing.

WiiU uses cartridges?

Can you tilt them?

I really don't see a reason to get the download unless you wanted to get it at midnight instead of waiting to go to the store today or you lose carts easily (I used to do the latter, in fact I think I only know the location of about half the carts I own, but I keep them all together now)

cartridge of course.

The box was so light I was actually afraid there wasn't a game inside

I guess 2 generations of systems later I'm still used to GBA boxes with all that bulky cardboard structure, a 20 page instruction booklet, health and safety information, and like a dozen different slips of paper advertising other games
