I'm still waiting for Super Mario Sunshine 3DS. I mean, it can go hand-in-hand with Super Mario 64 DS if they add Luigi with his own special abilities and Shine Sprites.

Sunshine requires 2 sticks

3DS isn't a console that uses 2 thumbsticks and besides, the 3DS couldn't handle Sunshine level graphics. Maybe next portable nintendo generation can, but not this one.

Well they could change the graphics to a level that the 3DS can handle, something like they did with Donkey Kong Country Returns

There's still the twin stick problem. I know the 3DS has a circle pad pro, but its a bit like the Kinect and Playstation move - if its not with the console, its too risky to develop for.

They made Super Mario 64 DS work well without the c-direction buttons. They could have the touchscreen move the camera, or [albeit awkward] the d-pad.
Also I thought the graphics for the 3DS were on-par with the Gamecube's graphics. At least, it looks that way on DK Country Returns 3D.

The resolution and framerate on DKCR3D is quite low.
