I'd personally recommend Unity with it's amazing workflow and ease of use.
If you plan on making a game you wish to profit from, and are using the free version of the software, the licensing will leave you broke.

Yes you can create and sell a game with the free version of Unity, without paying royalties or any revenue share. However, the free version of Unity may not be licensed by a commercial entity with annual gross revenues (based on fiscal year) in excess of US$100,000, or by an educational, non-profit or government entity with an annual budget of over US$100,000.

That's what you see, when you actually agree to the free versions terms and conditions, which these kids probably won't read, it's honestly a lot worse than even that.

I don't think that it's easy and I don't just decide ideas! I make the game, I make the scenery, I make the mountains, the hills, the gui, and the HUD.

My friends do the rest.
these are all relatively the same thing

What are you reading? That's what's in the terms and conditions.

Comparison between the Unity/Unity Pro, the little comparison chart.

But you are right, that is the only stated thing in the EULA for the free versions holds on licensing.
I have a hard time believing Unity wouldn't step in on a person making bank (<100,000/fiscal year) on their free engine.

There's no reason to put him down for his efforts. If you doubt him, keep it to yourself. He could end up successful, and if he doesn't, how does it affect you in any way?

Ok, What does the free/pro comparison feature differences have to do with making people broke?

Although it is a shame they made unity4's navmesh stuff pro only, i had fun with that in beta.

And they probably wouldn't find out about a game making <$100k. Plus it shows their logo on start up for free unity games too.
