Yeah, but they could easily take advantage of the new hardware features of the Wii U. So it's not just an HD remake; even Super Mario 64 DS had a lot of new features.

One of the things Wind Waker was popular for was the cartoon-ish artstyle. I'm guessing there isn't much anticipation for this, because what Nintendo seemingly did, was remove that artstyle and replace it with a high-ass bloom. This is actually why I'm not all for it either.

The reason i like remakes of old Nintendo games is because i wasn't old enough back in the day to know to buy them. That is why i'm completely in for remakes.
