Norway so crazy. Here in Finland a "semester" is around 5.5 months and it's split into 2-3 parts depending if it's spring or autumn. You have around 2.5-3 (rarely 4) years to complete a minimum of 75 courses. (In total, there are usually 5-10 courses per subject.)
Huh. That's a strange. I know there are universities in Norway with a similar structure, but most universities use my system. You have to earn 30 points each semester (most courses are 7.5 points, meaning 4 courses per semester) for a total of 60 points a year. You need to have 300 points at the end of your education. That usually takes 5 years, but you can use up to 8 years I think.
We don't have any "subjects" as such, but we have courses from different areas of expertise. I've had a lot of math, for example.
