How can you learn physics in 9 courses :O
I've taken 20 courses in chemistry, and I'm only halfway!

Maybe our courses are different. One course lasts around 2 months.

One course lasts 1 semester (3-4 months). I have 4 courses each semester.

Norway so crazy. Here in Finland a "semester" is around 5.5 months and it's split into 2-3 parts depending if it's spring or autumn. You have around 2.5-3 (rarely 4) years to complete a minimum of 75 courses. (In total, there are usually 5-10 courses per subject.)

Huh. That's a strange. I know there are universities in Norway with a similar structure, but most universities use my system. You have to earn 30 points each semester (most courses are 7.5 points, meaning 4 courses per semester) for a total of 60 points a year. You need to have 300 points at the end of your education. That usually takes 5 years, but you can use up to 8 years I think.
We don't have any "subjects" as such, but we have courses from different areas of expertise. I've had a lot of math, for example.

Has physics explained why boiling water freezes faster than cold water?

delta

it's all about the delta
Unless you forgot to add something to the equation then it states that the product of two variable is equal to that same product minus the product of 9.78 and the change. The only way in which this can be true is if the change is 0. If you meant your equation to be something else please rewrite it to reflect that. You may wish to use the sub or sup tags.

Behold the bacteriaphage. This virus is known to hunt down bacteria such as e.coli and implants its DNA into such bacteria so that e.coli will replicate with the phages DNA. Eventually the e.coli cell will explode into more of these phages.

Also without biology you elitist physicists would have died from sickness long ago.

I don't know, but my guess is that dissolved gases such as CO2 are removed when the water is boiled. The dissolved gases lower the freezing point. Thus, boiled water will freeze quicker. Another explanation could be that the evaporation of water uses energy. Therefore, the temperature falls more quickly.
