Best handheld Harvest Moon title?

I got impatient and downloaded the rom for Friends of Mineral Town.

I wanted to see why everyone says it's the best in the series. I see it.

Magical Melody was my previous favourite but this tops it.


Clearly, I am not getting any homework done this evening.

great timing, i got the harvest moon ds game myself, missing a ton of things from the japanese version though
AND GEEZ NO ONE TOLD ME THROWING WEEDS ON THE FLOOR WAS LITTERING EVERYONE LOWERED THEIR FP LIKE A TON
personally i'd rather play 64 or AWL. 64 had way more random interactions but i liked the rural setting of AWL. i also own MM but that game is really repetitive...

did you know that holding z on like the fourth controller in the female version of AWL allows you to own all the items? For some reason, when my sister was playing the female version a randomized second file came up. The name was Xher, I can get pictures of it later.

and I never understood why throwing weeds on the ground is littering, I thought if I found something on the ground, and put it back on the ground, it wouldn't count as littering but APPARENTLY NOT
