not like tf2 in the slightest, i can guarantee you

To all you people complaining about not being able to level with a level 5 medic, I recommend playing normal/long servers with a group of FRIENDS (people you know) or playing hard/medium with random people. Using the medic guns is unreliable as long as people have armor because there's like a 25% chance that the player will register the needles as an incoming attack and negate it. Use the syringes and get up close and personal.

never had that happen when i was using medic guns
then again i've only really played on lan servers so it might have something to do with latencies

I got the game and tried it out, because everybody keeps saying its an amazing game.
Me and a few friends couldn't get passed wave 3 on any map we try. Eventually this big rock looking dude comes out and one shots all of us, and theres nothing we can do about it. We unloaded in the thing and it didnt die.
It was probably because we didn't really know what we were doing, or because we might be bad at the game, but i didnt find it enjoyable :c

I get it sometimes when playing with friends, it just sometimes fails to register a hit from a heal needle.

What difficulty were you guys on?
Because, if you think you can do this game on a medium-ish difficulty in the beginning, you are going to have a hard time.

A for the Patriarch, he is a boss-like guy, meant to be strong and buffed.
If you have the right weapons, you can beta him, but you have to get to know what weapons to buy.

The class you take matters as to what weapons you get.
If you want to get a crossbow as a support specialist, you will have to pay big prizes.
If you play as sniper and buy a crossbow, it will be cheaper.

Then you also have tiers of weapons.
You can often see that one shotgun costs a lot less then the one after that.
That is because the second shotgun is a higher tier.
Of course you can also see it in the stats.

Other then that, it is not always an easy game, so maybe it is a bit hard at the moment, but yeah, it's great.

i like to play commando with an ak or the fnfal acog (a scar is fine too) and keep a crossbow as a secondary for fleshpounds and scrakes

I was a Support with a shotgun, because it said that they were good with shotguns. I like how you can weld doors, and how every class can heal eachother
