I'm still wondering when it's going to embrace the fact that it's shaping up to be an MMOG instead of a sandbox.

wheres the update for where it doesnt run like stuff
Probably on the bottom of their list of things to not even talk about.

You may want to update the OP, Glad Giraffe (Combat Update) is out.

The only good thing to come from the new update is the new Tweed Vs Starbound video.
That can be said of any update since the addition of linear, quest-based progression.

Are you totally ignoring the combat changes? Because the combat is challenging again. And weapons feel more interesting to use. And there is a much more robust range of enemies and enemy behaviors.

I have 668 hours in this game and less than 1 in multiplayer

damn, sorry for double post. I'm usually pretty good at not doing that.

Shut up and hate the greedy, lazy, money stealing devil worshipers known as chucklefish Katadeus.

Sarcasm.
Here is my sarcasm thing because people won't pick up on it.

I like how robust they made the combat, but the gameplay is still grating & the optimization still sucks.

Is the progression still quest locked and the armor/weapon tiers still just recolors with better stats?

I still feel shafted by the fact that it went from open world exploration and survival game into a forced storyline that you MUST follow to advance.
You don't just change a game a like that if people have already paid money for it.

most of them still do piss-poor damage and don't make up for the rest of the game's flaws

yes i love fighting enemies that move like im on a server with 200 ping.

Hard to focus on that when the answer to the quote below is a disappointed "..yes"

Starbound is a worse game than it was during the first alpha release.
That's unacceptable.
