Author Topic: First Build?  (Read 2485 times)

i fumbled around with events at the demo house and saved it so i guess yeah

mine would rape your eyes

I made a short 6x6 5high castle, and used onplayertouch-player-setscale-200 to make it seem normally sized.
it had 4 1x1 plates on each corner on the roof that were tortches with fire emitters, and i evented bricks on the first floor to change the emitter. the fences on the roof were also evented to change color when a 1x1plate on the first floor was clicked. on the second floor, there were like 8 1x1plate buttons evented to change the music brick's music. and, of course, a button to spawn a rocket explosion and blow everything up.

I remember specifically my first full building.

but here's this if you're interested
when I first joined a random freebuild server as "Blockhead12552" i immediately placed a vehicle spawn, spawned an abrams and flipped out as it was the coolest thing I'd seen in the game as far as that point

i then asked how to name myself, gave myself this name, and never joined the server again

good times
my first build was a bar on some (other, if you read spoiler) freebuild server

it turned out awful I imagine but I can't remember finishing it.  nostalgia all the way

First buildings from when I first played the Demo Version.

The first one (I think), was simply a very tall set of stairs, of 1x2x4 blocks placed on top of each other.
They reached from the floor of the Kitchen map, up to the end of the counter, at the part where the counter sticks outwards from the wall with the window, towards the wall with the painting and door.
These were coloured Red, Green and Yellow, as in Rastafarian colours.
And underneath it, were some Trees, which were supposed to look like spikes which you die on if you fell from the top.

My other original builds, were some green crappy bases, which were built around the old maps.
There was 1 that stuck on a platform of plate bricks, connected to the top of the picture frame in the Kitchen, near the door.
This little base had a gun, rocket launcher and an open hole in the front, where a jeep could drive out of.

There was also an opposing Red Base which was situated on top of the hanging lights in the Kitchen.
It had rocket launchers, spears, and horses. As all military bases do.

And then, in the Bedroom I had a green walled base on top of the Shelf, covered in lights.
And under the drawers, there was another red/purple base with a jeep, and walls, and a "cannon" made out of bricks.
They were lit up with lights, and played in the Bedroom Dark maps.
My brother and I pretended they were at war with each other, in the middle of a zombie invasion. There were no zombies, but that didn't matter. :3

Mine Was A Full Scale Model Of A Earth Worm Digging In The Ground, And When It Was Shot, The Guts Flew Out.

the giant rooster tower..........

I made a building that resembled KFC if I recall correctly.

Two computers ago, so I don't still have the save or screenshots, but it was a brick-built fire truck.

I believe it was a fort I made on some server. It was a 32x baseplate with 1x1x5 bricks as walls. I was so proud, but then the server shut down and I raged, not playing Blockland for a couple weeks.

I think my first build was a square igloo that I built in demo mode on a mountain in the slopes map.

I think it was either that ''Demo Dojo'' I tried to make on the Slopes out of 1x2s and 3 32x32 baseplates. I still have the save but ironically, in the description, it says: ''I will continue this build when I get Blockland full version''. I never did.

A little cool base with a runway for the flying jeep and some fences.

I made it because I thought there were people on the far areas, who played in different internet worlds.

It was actually completely movable with Macro.
