i like preordering games. i cant think of a bad reason for it.
you can download and install the game a day early so when its at launch you can instantly play.
that is if you felt the need to play as soon as you could lol.

the bonus item tning is mainly for console versions. because it cuts down a little on people buying the returns, they would likely buy their own fresh copy sooner.
but i think console gaming should die anyways, so i could hardly give a stuff lol

The only time I pre-ordered a game was Hitman: Absolution for 49.95.
worst price, not as good of a game as I thought it was.
But, I'm in the middle area of pre-ordering games. Sometimes they're good, sometimes they're bad. Or atleast, from what i've seen.

pre ordered skyrim
dont have to give you a reason

i have to disagree, I may be cynical, but I don't judge games on their options menu.
But you do judge the pc port and the developers on it.

Well I pre-ordered Halo 4 Limited Edition (just because I was a fan boy) but I haven't pre-ordered another game since ODST But it was never for the bonus content. I reserve my copies so I can get them right away and enjoy playing them as soon as they come out rather than having me to be scared the stores might run out of copies (which they never really do these days).  Halo 4, for example, released multiple "bonus content" depending on which places you pre-ordered it from (Walmart, Amazon, Best buy, and Gamestop, etc) but you could eventually rank up to unlock these contents so it always seemed pointless for me "unless you got the cool random stuff that came in the white box of the limited edition for only an added price of $40.00 more!"<-- *sarcastic*

So many people ranting on the Steam forums about boycotting Gearbox, Steam, and Sega.

I've pre-ordered Battlefield 3 and Assassin's Creed 3

I don't like to preorder things usually but sometimes I do.

i don't always pre-order games but when i do, i prefer dos equis.

I don't see the problem with preordering at all
it doesn't cost you any more
and as far as steam goes, and others I'm sure, the only difference between preordering a game and buying it after it's released is the extra content that is usually promised, and sometimes the ability to preload it

Preordering is okay if demos are actually ACCURATE of the game.

Why wouldn't it be? People know what to expect, It's arma. It has it's fanbase.

I want to pre-order resident evil 6 since I have it on xbox and I personally like it. Also because if you pre-purchase you get a free copy of RE5 and the season pass is 60% there, too.
