I am not the best builder, i could like rarely help with events, but i could also support this topic with ideas and all.

the main thing that would be needed is scripting lordi, to clear bricks and load the ones of the next level once finished. To adjust the game to the player amount there and set anyone who joins late in an AI sort of role. For checkpoints to save inventory data. later code that is activated by event may be needed. Plot is going to be like the old lego time cruisers where you are traveling through time to stop a rouge villain.
I was actually making a blockland campaign map last night. I don't know what the level layout should be or how it should start but so far it looks good. I'll post pics when I get home.

map 1 loads
map 1 is cleared map 2 loads
map 2 is cleared map 3 loads
Except "map" is the level.
