What I do not understand though is, how good will this be?

Because they either have been working on it for a while, spend no time on it at all, or worked right off of AC:3.
The reason I say this is because it's coming out for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and the Wii U, so I take it that it will be released and time this Summer or Fall. Unless they put it out on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii U, PS4, and the new Xbox.

Anyways, discuss

they've just released ass's creed 3, why are they so rushed to release a new one?

money. sequels to games arent about story telling, theyre about making money

when they make an original game, they dont know how good it will be in the market, so they test it by making a game with good story. Then they just make any old stuff when its popular because they will know it will make money. Release a new game every year with lots of corners cut and BOOM maximised profits

they release a new game every year, sometimes more than one
console games have been a yearly-release since brotherhood

this game is apparently a direct sequel to AC3 (no surprise there) and you play as Haytham's father/grandfather of Conner
although pirates are interesting and all, i'm pretty much done with this series

Jeez you must be like 100 years old then :I

how the hell are they making a new game? the story ended in assassins creed 3. theres no way they can go on from there.

unless they're making a game where there's no modern day sequences and you stay in the past. i would love a game like that, desmond and his buttbuddies are boring and annoying as f-

heelll yesssss

I thought Assassins Creed 3 was suppose to be the last one.....

Is the main character Connor or someone new again?

Edit:
Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii U, PS4, and the new Xbox.
Wait, is there no PC version?

Given that there were privateers and pirates at the time of the Revolutionary War it could be possible but idk.

also what the hell no PC

Haha lol no PC.
That really sucks actually.

And indeed, this feels a bit too soon after AC3.

I haven't been AC3 yet! And no PC, Don't think I'll be playing this on then.

I heard it was going on PC...

Anyways, AC is Ubisoft's CoD now.

This may be the only AC game I'd buy
