Author Topic: Rant on testing at my school (CMTs).  (Read 2770 times)

All year from day one all they would talk about is the aims test, and how unless you payed attention for every single second of every single day you would end up a dead beat with no job. Essentially all I've ever heard about is how unless you go to college for 5 years and get straight A's through high school you will never have enough money to support yourself.

everything was an observation and not baseless intentional insults

Because calling someone whiny totally isn't intentional or off color what-so-ever.

i literally just said 3 times in a row that the post comes off as whiny and i wasn't going out of my way to attack him, it was an observation

also thats sarcasm i'm not autistic i promise!!!! please don't institutionalize me and put me on meds im a good boy i swear

That's a pretty wasted rant considering every student has to take some sort of exam, and college/highschool exams are a lot loving worse than 45 minutes of doing nothing.

Not really.

You did call me whiny.

whiny =/= insult
It kinda is.

It was uncalled for and just plain rude.

in my state we take the "CRT" tests, and the teachers say that 6th grade is just preparing for the CRTs. im always thinking "why not give us the test now, all we are doing are reviews and quizzes".

It's not uncalled for when you are being whiny.

I was not being whiny. I was ranting about stupid test procedures.

Does your school have activity periods? If so, then I feel bad for you guys.

No, but get over it, the school is trying to actually let you enjoy something, stop being stuck up about it.

I was just asking a question. Wait, I thought you dropped out because of the baby.
