Chrome or Safari?

I have MacBook Pro, and use Safari. My friends told me to use Google Chrome instead, but I am not sure if it's good.

Can you guys tell me if it's better than Safari?

safaris a good browser, because it's simple and runs quickly. it depends on what your favorite type of browser is. i think you should just go and check out the other browsers (firefox should be installed by default) and see which one you think is better because they're very different browsers.

On a Macbook, Safari is the better option in my opinion, but on a windows, use Chrome. Safari was built for Mac, though, so I would think it runs better on a Mac than on a Windows.
The main reason I like Safari is that when you download a compressed file, Safari automatically decompresses it and throws the compressed copy in the trash.
