bump.

Interrior is okey, exterrior is crap

I'm not gonna lie this is pretty stuffty... It doesn't like detailed nor aerodynamic at all.

If I googled "spaceship", I wouldn't ind anything like this. And no, that's not because it's unique.

I thought I said no handicapped Criticism?

I thought I said no handicapped Criticism?
you think any criticism that is negative to your build is handicapped?

no

Try to make the hall a few bricks higher, how oftan has picard hit his head on the ceiling of the room?

>aerodynamic
>spaceship

Doesn't it count as a negative post?

Also i am inclined to argee with him, the bulid could use some work.
If you look at some of Ares they bulid amazing stuff.

I recommend starting small and working up.

A little dedication helps too.

Hello its me! ARES member and what not, btw Ares is a ship in ARES. Anyways This ship is good for a start. But considering we have a high standard of quality there is a large difference between this

and this

Not to mention we had five people working on our ship while he was working alone.

Try to recognize that we all have different skill levels in this game.  There is no need to criticize someone else's build simply because it's not the best build out there.
http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=3622.0 Personally I think its nice, my first ship was a 16x32 box so currently I find he will become a great builder. Just needs practice.

Now time for some tips!

First off when it comes to building a spaceship start with the engine block or "thrusters" on the back. Thrust defines what weight can be moved and weight defines size.

Once the engine block is done start working on the interior and exterior on the way up to the front.

Do not use duplicator for hallway pieces. This might be hypocritical in some ways since I insulted AdinX on this as well even though I am building some modular moon base parts. Anyways build the halls by hand. You can repeat patterns but by doing it by hand you can randomize patterns and details such as windows show up.
But those modular moon base pieces are for other people not for me so I find no problem in it.

Do not use a simple plate for the roof. The roof is one of the most looked at parts of a ship. Instead make the sides of the hall go up 2 more plates. Put a plate on top of that and fill the area in.

Do not make floors 5 bricks deep, go for between 7-9 this way the players head is touching the ceiling. 5 bricks is not is minimal space, not a proper height.

Put your settings on blockland at best. By setting your settings on best at everything. It will increase the detail in the picture along with make things with little detail look a lot better than they really are. You can run shaders it seems so you can turn these things up as well.

When designing a ship refer to tip 1 and 2, do not make a model of what you want. Go with the flow and when the ship is about halfway done to the length you want. come up with a design.

Practice makes perfect! Do more ships in the future but only post them if you like what you made.

Added a poll for what kind of engine my next ship should have, solar sail or just rocket engines.

1. No idea what you're saying
2. I don't have shaders, I  can't run them till I get a new graphics card.

this is 2/10
