Author Topic: [Request] Baked shadows for deathmatches  (Read 2461 times)

Shadows are versatile enough to become a gameplay mechanic. give us the ability to bake the current shadows from the envrionment settings menu for use in deathmatch servers or gamemodes. This will reduce lag and should be very easy for most computers to run. (Our current shadows are ALL dynamic, causing you to rerender scenes a certain ammount of times)
Baked shadows should also have shadow blurring.
Also allow for certain bricks to be able to be still dynamic, so that bricks like doors moving would still cause shadows to move.

afaik rot is just a moderator. I think badspot and komp are the only people who actually work on the game. of course I don't know for sure

Ephialtes works on the game a bit, too. I think so atleast. Back in the day, he made quite a few add-ons for the game, too.

i think rotondo did make the gamemode system and he was probably a major help with the bots
