Okay, finished the game an hour ago. I guess I'm a little sad some older gameplay didn't show up in the final game. I'd have liked walking through a Vox-controlled area without provoking them.

If you finished the game, I have an idea of what happened. I read some wiki entry, and although currently it isn't exactly reliable as the wiki hasn't stabilized, it did make me think enough to figure out some things.

it wasn't comstock at all. it was originally a flagship american city meant to spread democracy and protestantization.
