the difference is that a "weaboo" literally wants to be Japanese, more often than not with a flawed idea of what actually being Japanese is.

usually being a weaboo implies you're an otaku, but being an otaku doesn't mean you're a weaboo.

I'm fine if you like the language and you want to try and learn it and everything...but damn, don't throw it everywhere.
