Resistance and Liberation installed but won't launch.

I've installed it and played it before, but lost it to a computer reset.
This time I installed it, and it appeared in my steam games list, but when I click play nothing happens.
I don't have half life, I do have tf2 but haven't launched it, and yes, I've restarted everything many times.

Any help?
I've read it requires the orange box, is this true now?

Resistance and Liberation has gone to stuff now. Devs have said that they're making a new game on a new engine -- but completely removing what I loved RnL for; the realism.

Atleast we have Invasion 1944 for Arma 2. I do miss the RnL days though.

Try launching TF2, and if that fails try installing and launching the Source SDK's under tools.
