Dynamic bricks.

Structures and buildings are always so static. There's nothing about them that is moving or anything of the sort unless they've been "fakekilled" and go into their floaty physics mode.

Something like motors or something that could make the bricks MOVE would be amazing. Through that, actual elevators and realistic trains could be made.

Just a thought.

I'm confused, I thought the bricks that could move and stuff were static shapes? Someone clarify that for me. Anyways, we sort of can but they right now they suck. They don't have the brick texture on them (which could be done) and they don't have the effects when they get fakekilled/hammered. I don't know why we don't have default support for static/dynamic bricks (idk which they are). We could make elevators on the fly and slidable doors without the use of JVS (or even secret walls that are actually doors) with the use of Events.

because everything works on a grid
it's the same reason we don't have diagonal bricks.

Yeah, but I think the grid should be loosened.

Don't hate me for saying this, but I kind of like the physics setup that ROBLOX has.

you could make that
but you have to make seperate bricks to do so
have you seen xalo's overlapping wedges

It's actually a good setup, (for some things) I don't see why anybody would hate you. I remember there was this one place where you could build rockets using their physics, it was pretty fun.

yeah i really liked that, it was fun creating giant-ass brick planes and crashing into buildings

Commiiiiiccc saaannnssss ahhhh

also, isnt that title ambiguous

Eh, a lot of people seem to dislike ROBLOX for several reasons, including the community AND the way the game works.

I could be wrong though, but it's just what I've been seeing.

also, isnt that title ambiguous

Didn't seem that way to me. It really is something that I wish Blockland was capable of. It would make a lot of things possible.

Well we already have buildable elevators and vehicles, or the closest we're going to get to them

Motors and moveable bricks? Sounds impossible with the current engine Blockland uses.

Vehicles that had weight and could drift instead of bouncing around. Vehicle physics like in Subrosa.

I'm pretty sure you can make the static shapes work with the grid and the same for diagonal.

That doesn't make it not ambiguous.

Ambiguous: Something I wish Blockland had...
We don't know what the topic is about. We just know you have an idea.

Not ambiguous: I wish Blockland had dynamic bricks...
We now know what the topic is about.
