Author Topic: Humanity's Future - the end?  (Read 121699 times)

is oil and coal now useless? and what does gravitanium look like and where would you find it?
Coal can still be used in power plants and factories.  Coal is still used in some processes, like making coal coke.
Oil is still used in some ships, such as barges and boats, though they're the "poor-man's" boat.  Cars in Erinaum are all Gravitanium craft that fly amongst buildings.  Roads are few, but are open for mainly walking.  Schools can literally take a field trip to the Moon, or if you live on the Moon, a field trip to Earth.  It really depends where you live.

Gravitanium is a luminescent opaque pale-cyan semi-liquid gel (with physical properties close to corn starch and water mixed, and jello) found in places with weak or absent magnetospheres, and places closer to stars.  Mercury has a ton of Gravitanium, but since the Sun is hot and radioactive as forget, its a bad idea to go there to get it.  Earth has some, but not very much  Gravitanium is also found in regions around black holes and wormholes in unbelievable quantities.  Erinaum has been getting most of its Gravitanium from the Moon, Mars and Asteroids.  With the destruction of Ceres, Gravitanium prices is about to drop dramatically.

Are you implying that you have the same discoveries as Erinaum from Hera?
I am implying that I'm approaching that point in advancement.  Erinaum from Hera went into production of portals way faster than it should have.  If I went at the same rate that the Heran Erinaum went, I'd be far beyond that.

The Khonian's unfamiliarity to the earth's environment causes a virus to spread throughout the Khonian population.  Khonians that inhale airborne spores will begin to grow fungal infections on the insides of their ridges, causing the growths to crack the skull of the victim and render them incapacitated.  Further unhindered growth of the virus will cause severe necrosis, as well as ataxia as the fungus begins to take control of the victim's cerebellum, making them viciously attack others unprovoked.
A photo taken of a victim of the virus, whose growth has gone unhindered for months (Just add a third arm).

Oh stuff Khonia nooo :c
We'll help you create a vaccine

Also what happens if you eat Gravitanium? :o

You die.
Obviously
But how? I can't test it for obvious reasons :P

I would imagine radiation sickness.

United Khonia restricts all trade with humanity and requests humanity does the same just in case there are diseases that affect humans. They work on trying to develop a cure, but for now the best they could do is surgically remove the fungi from under the ridges of those infected, not guaranteeing removal.

Removing the fungus forcefully only results in the dispersal of spores.

I guess this means Terrans (including Stellastria) can't contribute with Khonians for a while?

Just planets with the fungus that's affecting them.

Is Europa safe then? :P

EDIT: I'm going camping for a few days. In the meantime, Stellastria will be researching on muons as a kind of Tier 2 electricity. They aren't stable for very long, but we want to find out more to see how feasible they are for replacing electrons in normal matter to make them much denser, or for faster and more powerful electricity. I won't respond for a bit.

Fargo's advanced medical centres attempt to create a cure/vaccine.

Yeah in addition to trade stopped, Khon movement between planets that have the fungi have stopped. So you should have some infected khon citizens still there.

I just got internet for a sec so I want to make sure muon research is fine + check on vaccines.
