Help.
So I have a E-mac keyboard its mechanical that pacha gave me and whenever I restart my pc at the spashscreen it makes a beeping sound and doesnt get past it what can I do

unplug it and restart your computer?

sounds like a key might be stuck and keeps activating during booting which makes weird sounds.

What kind of beeping sound?
If its not a sound you recognize as a windows error kind of beep then its your motherboard making the beeping sound, saying "Somethings gone wrong yo".

Normally my computer makes a little beep sound indicating everything works but when I plug it in while booting it goes BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP and stops and doesn't leave the spashscreen

I blame the fact that you downloaded windows 8.

It did it before he had Windows 8, dummy.

But, he downloaded windows 8 yesterday, and he was in a call yesterday too...
So how could he had gotten stuck at the spashscreen if everything was going fine just last night?

I dual boot so I have a problem at the screen with the boot options mute.

No no, it was the WAY he downloaded it that was sketchy.

you guys are loving handicapped telling him that it's the OS
your BIOS probably recognizes the keyboard is there, but doesn't recognize it as a device it can use and is stating there's a keyboard error. try updating the BIOS if you don't have the latest version

Most likely because he doesn't have USB drivers installed.
This is what I was afraid of.
