Author Topic: What would your dream game be?  (Read 1983 times)

There's a lot of good games out there, but there are so many things I wish gaming companies would make that haven't been done

Now when I say "dream game," I don't mean unrealistic, super expensive, futuristic games that have everything to your specifications. I mean games that can actually happen that you would love to see, but haven't and probably won't.

For me those games are one's like
Battlefront III - which almost happened, but didn't,
Some more updated sequel to Spore with better functionality and multiplayer,
Super Smash Bros. 4,
Some in depth, up to date RPG that is still kept G-rated and lacks 'spells' and such

Elder Scrolls Online, if it actually plays like an Elder Scrolls game. Or at least a co-op Elder Scrolls game.
Double Dash 2
A game like Animal Crossing but on the computer would be cool. Same for Harvest Moon.

System Shock 2-styled MMO, in terms of interface and atmosphere/environments.

A game just like Civilization V, except instead of one player controlling the nation, the units are controlled in first-person by separate players.

this is brilliant too

i've been trying to answer this question for myself for a while now, which is why i'm trying to program my own.

though as a random brainstorm, i really want a game that progressively gets better and better looking as you move forward through it.

A always-online MMO desert survival wasteland game.
But instead of it all being padded out players have to build their own structures from respawning minerals (this includes guns and vehicles)

life: no subscription, hyper realistic graphics, superb physics simulation, no contract, and limitless rpg roleplayability! no respawns though.

LEGO Universe revised, and Littlebigplanet for the PC

Racing MMO thats works.
I'M LOOKING AT YOU DRIFTCITY GAMESCAM-US

oh baby
like
a game that had straight-up physics
and there were actual atoms, and every element, and every compound could be made out of them, and everything
and you could like, do a sandbox kinda thing
or you could play like, a technological advancement-type thing, where you and a group of other humans have to make tools and advance technologically (duh) and stuff and it would all work perfectly
that would be the best thing ever

frick that

Either a high graphical TES game with an awesome story, little to none handholding and lots of things to do, or a GTA game with good graphics, loads of things to do and very tight controls.

elder scrolls online without the "one giant server" concept

Okay so take monster hunter tri ultimate for the 3DS and give it OoT 3D Targeting system and add a leveling system with base stats and then holy stuff that game would be the nuts.
