Author Topic: Mic left on after NJ senate meeting reveals they actually DO want your guns.  (Read 17383 times)

Ok, now you're just being a richard about it.
Go the read Robert Ruggiero's essay mine is better.

Yes it does, just because an old paper says you should have guns, doesn't mean you have the right. The 2nd amendment is outdated, heck the whole thing is.
What the flying forget

in my opinion lobbyism is part of the problem

What the flying forget

In military terminology it can mean it's a close quarters weapon like shotguns, flame throwers, submachine guns, and grenades. However the assault rifle as it is called, was designed by the national socialist's for close quarters fighting to replace bolt action rifles in close quarters combat. Typically these use a smaller caliber round than the 7.62x51mm used in battle rifles.

What is it with people always starting to collect the guns after some idiot starts a shootout or a bombing. If you want the crime rate to go down, you could Legalize drugs to destroy the black market, which would defeat organized crime. If you want these damn psychos who open fire in public places because of their own anger disappear, make sure that no child in this world gets to grow up being the target of violence. If you want muggers and crooks to disappear, make a system to give support to all of these people so people who have resorted to crime to get their money get a house. Its that easy. I'm pretty sure the government has enough money to do that.

This whole gun control situation can be easily compared to piracy in video games. The development team puts all of this DRM garbage into the game which forgets the honest consumer who bought the game with their own money, but doesn't do a damn thing for the people who download the game free. If you want piracy to go down, you need to have good services that offer your product for sale easily. If you want murders and all other gun related crime to go down, make sure no one gets into a situation in which taking the law into their own hands is the way to go. Taking guns away from the public and its people won't do a damn thing. Criminals buy their weapons from the black market so there is no paper trail to their identity. If the governments increased their police resources and funding, I'm pretty sure in the end no one would even want to buy guns because there is no point carrying one around unless you like to shoot tin cans at your summer cottage.

That quote still holds water to this day. Good argument by the way.

Thank you.

QFT. The right to bear arms is, in it's most basic form, a guarantee to the common masses of legal self-protection.

The people who want guns removed from the public are the ones who have never needed them.

You didn't listen to what I said at all did you? I said it should be reviewed and rewritten for modern times, all the rights would remain the same.

This is true, I agree with everything in this statement.

Welp, there goes any chances of guns being regulated/require background checks.

I can see some people getting smoked for this

Ok, I'll rearrange it.
He's saying that if things continue the way they are then we are going to be a fallen regime, you dipstuff.
That's funny stuff right there.
What is it with people....  ..at your summer cottage.

One of the best arguments I've seen on the forums in a long time.
