The only benefit I can see of public schools is you are more social.

I have that covered. I have tons of friends. All of which wish they could homeschool.

In that case there isn't much of a difference in your case.

:S not really. I'm really fast at reading and stuff so I can finish up in 2 or 3 hours. Then I make vids for this channel and then I do whatever. Today I made 12 vids. I only uploaded one tho.

I have friends, too, but they go to a Christian private school so they don't care about homeschooling or not.

I once went to a christian private school. Church and school were both at the same time. I had to wear a uniform tho.

I'm homeschooled. I can finish school in like 2 hours. Also I do all my school on the computer. It doesn't take as long because I'm ahead of my grade. (I don't feel smarter tho :/)

All of this^

Though when you learn that you're always right even when you know nothing about the subject, you tend to be a little arrogant moron I guess...
The benefits are (for those with thick skulls and small brains):
  • No 8 hour days
  • Wake up whenever
  • Computer all day erry day
  • More learning/ability to work on more difficult things so you learn them instead of being left behind
  • Yale, Harvard and other big-name colleges want you to go to their campuses
  • No high-school drama BS, fake friends, or anything of the ilk
  • You're not fed biased crap from every faucet imaginable

You still have plenty of friends unless you do something wrong (be a richard to everybody?). Homeschooling does not limit your social skills at all unless you choose to be limited.
lol
that "speaking of things you know nothing about" thing?
it applies to both ends

What makes this untrue?
The whole highschool drama thing only exists on tv. Was there bias in history classes?  It also depends on the type of teacher. Some teachers I have had gave you both sides of the argument, while others were pro-left wing. Yes, my teachers at first failed to mention that the confederates were mostly democrats and spent most of there time bashing the republicans. In my college they give you view points. Do colleges come visit highschools? Yes, but not law schools like Yale or Harvard, those visit other colleges like jcs. No is forcing you to go to schools, infact you can get the same education as a four year school at a Junoir College. Can the days feel long yes? But you have people you can talk to and make the day go by faster.

Advantages of going to school(for those who live in the real world and not in their bedroom)
  • Developing communication skills
  • A chance to form relationships
  • Public school is free
  • A chance to find a career path
  • You can get introduced to colleges that might fit your tastes
  • Gets you ready for a employment, After all you need to work to put food on the table and a work day is usually 8 hours.

there is no benefit to home schooling. only home schooled kids think there is LOL

The first two reasons are implying that I have no friends. I have tons of friends. Most of which dont homeschool. Also my schoolwork is free. I do have a chance to find a career path. I already know of all the colleges in the area. I also work to earn my own money. Have any other reasons?

How about I get to wake up whenever the forget I want and my school day only lasts 2-4 hours. At this point people are just randomly hating homeschoolers.

that isnt really a benefit. bottom line is when you get a job youll have to wake up in the mornings anyway.

Why are you homeschooled?

HOW IS IT NOT A BENEFIT. That's like saying dinosaurs didn't exist because there is no proof.

As far as I know homeschooling is illegal where I live.
