Author Topic: Do you believe in aliens?  (Read 9865 times)

I believe it's stupid to assume that all knowledge is bound by human ignorance, and that our arrogance defines what is or isn't real.

I think that's the realm of Quantum Physics where your brain is Masterlord

I'm pretty sure that humanity will be non-existent by the time we make first contact.

Aliens have been on Earth for a long time.

To think we are the only planet with life, and to think that our planet and us humans have the best technology available, is just absurd

Aliens have been on Earth for a long time.

The pure definition of an "Alien species" is one not native to our planet.

Basically the conditions that were met for the human race to become sentient is are very rare and it's also very unlikely that the same living conditions happened elsewhere in the universe.

See "The Kepler Mission"

Seriously, this satellite was launched in 2009 and it has already found hundreds upon thousands of planets that are in the right position in space to sustain life.

ultimately it's a moot point if they exist or not because the vast majority will be primitive eukaryotes and single celled organisms, and the travel time and logistics guarantee that the next hundred generations would not see them, using current technological progress as a guide.

You should add a "It's possible, but there's no way to know for sure and we have no definitive proof of them at this moment" option, as it's the correct one

I have had a stuff-ton of sightings that can not be explained by any human technology or known phenomena.

So yeah, our alien-overlords are real.

The pure definition of an "Alien species" is one not native to our planet.

I mean that Aliens have been on Earth for a while, not saying they were born here lol. They can come and go as they please, they have the technology.

I remember seeing a TV program that said there are other planets in the universe that have a sun and can retain life. Keep in mind that nature adapts to it's surroundings, so even if the planet in question has a totally different atmosphere of Earth, doesn't mean that it can't contain it's own life species.

To think that Earth is the only planet with life out of a zillion different galaxies all through space is quite unreasonable. We just don't have the technology to reach them and explore them, but other species in the universe might

I'm thinking that if humans spot an alien civilisation, they'd likely brown townyse it a bit, then kill the aliens and extract their resources. If they had advanced technology and inventions, humans would likely steal that as well.

This.

I bet they have visited us.
They just haven't come in contact with us because they are afraid this will happen.

They could be out there, and if possible if aliens move to earth we could most likely make some peace treaty so humans and aliens don't go to war.
I'm not saying I believe in them but there is my prediction.

So you're telling me that an intelligent alien species that can casually travel in space and visit other planets is afraid of a small race on a single planet the greatest achievement of which is landing on the moon of said planet in a tiny tin can?
