I'm so glad my school got out before this happened.

I think the controller looks great. It's reminiscent of the old old controller while upholding the ergonomics of the newer one. I've never had a problem with the Xbox controllers, and neither have my friends. :u

I like how all the new gen consoles are running on game engines and hardware from ~4 years ago and calling it new

really makes me sad how consoles are bogging down the progress of gaming

hey guys lets introduce our new gaming console thats focused on watching tv!

new fetures!
-no backwards compatibility (who needs to play those old games anyways amirite!!)
-lets introduce a fee players need pay in order to play games on other consoles (suport delevopers!)
-lets make the geams u own only tied to ur account!
-controler for the 360 was too small? lets make it biger and clunkier!!!
-social sociAL soCIAL SOCIAL!!!!
-lets also not show gamers our gpu just yet therefore it cant red ring!
-lets name it xbox 1 so we can go back 2 basics (retr0)

Waaaiiiitttt, are these two actually legit?

the console itself looks like something that should be stood upright surrounded by apes going bananas
then again judging by the kinect featuring there maybe that was intentional!

the latter one has been said to be incorrect, according to Microsoft's Support Twitter.

however, this on the other hand could be more fatal.

"No, it does not have to be always connected, but Xbox One does require a connection to the Internet."

Kotaku: If I’m playing a single player game, do I have to be online at least once per hour or something like that? Or can I go weeks and weeks?
Harrison: I believe it’s 24 hours.
Kotaku: I’d have to connect online once every day.
Harrison: Correct.

if it means exactly what it sounds like. perhaps he just means you can't update your console, or live feeds, without a connection. if it's just for the social aspects that no one really cares about, that's different. if it's required to play, lol

It makes things better for the PC.

i feel like XBOX is less about games compared to the PS4 which is kinda dissapointing/

Why are people complaining about downloading disc games when PC already does this.

What the forget people.

Consoles not having to download disc games was a major point in their favor. You could get a game, take it home, pop it in and start playing right away. From the looks of things this monolithic turd is just a PC for people who don't want a PC.

consoles work because of instant gratification

so that's kinda lousy

...and so begins the great gaming crash of 2013.
