I'm glad I'm a PC gamer. I rather not be...watched.

kinda like how the wii requires the sensor bar

kinda like how the wii requires the sensor bar
Not really, Xbox has a controller that doesn't need it, Wii NEEDED it to actually be controllable.

+1 I agree with this. What is the big deal?

because every human and animal has the right to privacy and it's people like you who ignore the little things let our rights disappear. Besides the Wii needs the sensor bar to receive the signals transmitted from the remove. Kind of like how a wireless mouse. That is all it does. There is no reason to have a camera on a console if you are going to use a controller. Camera's only capture light and create images, they do not transmit and receive controller signals.

so now the gimmick is essential...

forget

And there goes the Xbox.

We'll miss ya little guy.

Just point the camera at the wall, then the mic can still be used but you cant be visually spied upon and if it bothers you that much, just use a headset mic rather than the kinect one.

Wonder if microsoft has enough fat to chew to hibernate through this one.

codcigarettes are still going to buy it

You know, I don't really think I like any of the new consoles.
The Wii U is overpriced and kind of gimmicky with the built-in touchscreen.
The PS4 is just another PlayStation, and I've honestly never cared for them anyways.
The Xbox One seems to be loaded with this kind of stuff.

Then again, I didn't care that much for the last generation anyways:
The Wii was rather gimmicky with motion controls.
The PS3's main selling point was being a Blu-Ray player.
The Xbox 360 was alright, until the Kinect ruined it.

The generation before that was the last good generation, in my opinion, to date.

I wasn't trying to say PC is all better, some of my favorite games are console-exclusive.
I'm just saying I don't think there's been any good consoles in a while, the last ones being the GameCube and the Xbox Original.
